People Management Training

CustomHR has developed a series of people management workshops that focus on the management task that most of us find difficult, managing people. From experience we have devised our workshops to run as in-house half day sessions, this minimises the disruption the training has on the day to day operations of the organisation. In addition we run our people management workshops fortnightly, this ensures the learning experience results in positive sustained change. Between workshops we set tasks, at the start of each workshop there is a period of reflection on the previous session and a discussion on how participants have put new learning into practice.

Before starting on a training programme we will spend some time with the business leader to ensure the correct and appropriate workshops are included and that the course is tailored to your needs. We also aim to use your policies, procedures and staff handbooks as reference throughout the training.

We recommend our full programme of seven workshops as this covers all the fundamentals of managing people. However if you do not operate an appraisal system, for example, we understand that this may not be relevant. How we deliver our workshops.

Delivery:

Our workshops can be delivered as half-day sessions with morning sessions starting at 9:30am and afternoon sessions starting at 2pm. This allows any attendees to deal with any daily management issues prior to attending a training session. Also by restricting the training to half days with up to 8 delegates for each session, managers are not away from their work pace for too long.

It is preferable for training to be delivered at the customers location, however we can also run these sessions for up to 6 delegates at our offices near Southampton or a convenient location near to the customer.

CustomHR operates in a business focused way linking people performance to bottom line savings. We train, coach and empower managers to get the best out of their teams and motivate their employees to maximise profit margins. We ensure that all managers operate within the realms of employment law reducing liability claims against the organisation.
